Community Services
The Concord Police Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and raising funds for many community events.
If you would like more information or would like to volunteer, please contact us at (925) 676-8298.
Special Olympics
Concord Police Association members are proud to participate in the Annual Special Olympics Torch Run. Other events take place throughout the year including "Tip a Cop" and activities at Concord Waterworld. In the past three years, our members have assisted in raising over $30,000 for the Special Olympics.
Contact our business office at 676-8298 for more information.
Santa's Monumental Christmas
Our annual "Toys for Tots" program is designed to assist low income and disadvantaged children and their families in the Monument Blvd area. New up-wrapped toys can be donated at the Concord Police Department, 1350 Galindo Street or at any of the Police Department Community Field Offices. Each year over 2600 toys are generously donated by the Community and by The Concord Police Association and distributed to approximately 1500 children.
Concord Police Association Golf Classic
Our largest fundraising effort is coordinated by Officer Scott Wagner. Each year invitations are sent to members from law enforcement agencies, CPA members and local businesses. This year, proceeds benefited PAL, (Police Activities League) Special Olympics and New Connections.
For corporate sponsorship and or participation, contact the Concord Police Association at 925 676-8298.
Explorer Scouts
The Girl and Boy Scouts of America volunteer their time and talents to help the Police Department and our Association in various fundraising activities. The Concord Police Association sponsors their activites and applauds their efforts.
Fish Derby
For over 30 years the Concord Police Association has sponsored our traditional "Fish Derby". Each October, fishermen and women throughout the state compete for the first place trophy. The "Fish Fry" takes place the first week of November. Proceeds benefit local and national memorial funds.
